How do I verify if our fellows have registered for the exam?

Program Administrators can log into the website (https://intraining.aasm.org) and view which fellows have registered by clicking on the “Licenses” tab near the top of the screen. If a fellow has not yet registered, their name will appear in red. Encourage fellows to register as soon as they receive their registration email. The username and password fellows use to register for the exam are the same login credentials needed to access the exam on test day.

Do fellows receive any additional information after they register for the exam? Fellows receive two (2) exam reminders. A reminder is sent one week before the exam and a second reminder is sent one day before the exam.

Can our program director proctor our exam?

No. Proctors must be impartial with no established relationship with the fellows. For this reason, program directors and supervisors are not appropriate exam proctors due to the supervisory nature of their position. Being a friend, relative, supervisor, or fellow student would also disqualify a person from serving as proctor. Program coordinators, administrative assistants, and graduate assistants make good proctors.

When will the exam results be available?

The fellow and program administrator will be able to view individual results as soon as a fellow completes and submits their exam.

When will the national SMITE program results be available?

National program results will be available the week following the conclusion of the exam. Login to https://intraining.aasm.org and scroll down below your fellows’ individual scores.

Can the exam be taken more than one time?

Fellows should take the exam one time only, closest to the end of their training.
